Rep. Lois Capps on $741 Billion Cut from Medicare: "I read the bill and I helped write it..."

Moments ago, addressing the issue of health care in America at a forum hosted by the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce, Rep. Lois Capps (D-Santa Barbara) spoke on her vote to cut $741 billion from Medicare:

"We passed the Affordable Care Act...and it moved us forward and it can be amended and fixed...we'll need to do it... over 60,000 seniors can see the preventative services that are free and see the donut hole eliminated so this health care law is working and we can make it work better. Now we have affordable, accessible health care...I read the bill and I helped write it...this legislation strengthens Medicare.
